The "DIVALORE" Project

The "DIVALORE" project project is born from the collaboration set up between the Siena Viva Cooperative and the Department of Earth Science of the University of Siena and it is a synergic instrument between the university research world and the private one operating in the field of conserving and promoting Cultural Heritage.
The main purposes of this research regard the scientific characterization and the diagnosis of the state of conservation of the medieval frescoes and the stone altars present in St. Augustine’s church in Siena.
The project has been selected by the Provincial Administration of Siena, in order to implement a development plan and territorial marketing, and co-financed by the same Provincial Administration and the Monte dei Paschi Foundation.
